Sprinkler Fitter

Education: High school graduate and on-the-job training

Demand: High

If you’re good at reading and interpreting plans and blueprints … if you’re detail-oriented … if you’re comfortable with heights … you might want to look into a career as a Sprinkler Fitter. Sprinkler Fitters design, install and test automatic fire protection sprinkler system and components, including sprinklers, piping and valves, according to local and national sprinkler codes. Education requirements: High School Diploma and on-the-job training
